Going on vacation can be stressful knowing you have to leave behind your pets. Amber made the entire experience painless. Highly recommend! We are new to the area and needed a pet sitter for our 2 cats and Amber at Beach Buddies just couldn’t have been better. She took detailed notes when we met her and made us feel secure in leaving for a week. She sent us pics every day and was quick to respond when we had a concern while away. We came to the shore with our pets but did not know how to cover their care during a planned day trip. Amber of beach buddies was responsive and great with asking questions about getting to know our dogs. The care for our dogs was great…they were walked, played with, fed and we even received pics of our dogs during the day as they were cared for. I highly recommend this pet care service! We had Amber walk our two American Bulldogs while we were away for a few days. The dogs were staying with my mom and she came over for morning walks. She worked with my mom and our ever changing schedule with no issues! My younger dog has issues with leash walking and after day 1 Amber had her walking politely and not reacting to other dogs or cars. Several people from the neighborhood would txt me when they saw her walking the dogs and compliment how sweet she was being with them and how great the dogs were behaving with her. Amber is by far the best dog walker we have ever had, she made my vacation so much more enjoyable knowing my puppers were in good hands. 1000 star rating!!!! Kim 7/7/21

She was professional, but very friendly, took notes in our first meeting and followed them to the letter during her stay.
I received pictures and updates throughout the two days which made me very comfortable

I hate to give my review! It will make everyone choose Amber with Beach Buddies and she will get too busy for us! We had an excellent experience with her petsitting our two dogs for a week. We got daily reports complete w photos and videos of our pups walking, playing and cuddling with Amber. She absolutely made our vacation by not having to worry. No doubt we will use Amber again! Professional, follow up was wonderful, She is attentive to Bootz needs and a personable genuine person. Bootz is not your average 4 legged fur ball and I felt very comfortable with having Amber walk Bootz . We had to go out of town for a week due to a family emergency. Amber came by first to meet us and Kitty. We all liked her right away. Amber came in daily to feed, take care of litter, and snuggle with our Kitty. Amber sent an update with pictures every day. When we returned, Kitty was calm and happy. Usually when we get home, she is angry with us for a day or two for leaving her. I think the daily loving and attention did the trick, and Amber is her new best friend. We had the greatest experience of cat care we have ever known and we also had complete peace of mind when we traveled recently because Amber did such an outstanding job. She was beyond kind to our kitten. She played with him, took impeccable care of all his needs and thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with him. To our delight, our kitty enjoyed her visits very much as well! Amber is truly devoted to the pets in her charge and it comes from a deep love for animals. She is kind and loving. In addition, she is thoroughly professional, reliable and of utmost trustworthiness. Communication is excellent from beginning to end and she keeps in touch daily with updates and fantastic photos so we feel constantly reassured our kitten is happy and thriving. She even helped bring packages inside that were left on our doorstep while we were away. When you meet Amber, you can’t help but like her. She has a big smile and as you get to know her, you’ll see that she also has a big heart. She will never walk away from a challenge and will always give 100% to accomplish what she set out to do.
My dog fell in love with her and the feelings became mutual. One time my dog was very ill and my husband and I were unsuccessful when trying to give her medicine but she took it for Amber. She is also athletic and fit. I doubt there’s any dog that could out walk her.
